The NM coupling consists of two cast iron hubs and flexible ring able to compensate all types of shaft misalignments.
The NM jaw coupling has a very distinctive element that weaves in and out between the jaws.This ring has a high internal damping characteristic,which enables the coupling, on reaching a dangerous speed range,to limit the torsional oscillation and thus protect the linked machines from damage.Elements are made of nitrile rubber (NBR) and hardness of 72,82 shore A with temprature range 0f -40degree to +120 degree.The NBR material also resists to oil,dirt,grease,moisture.
Applications include industrial equipment such as pumps,gear boxes,compressors,blowers,mixers,etc.
